Thank you (and sorry for the slow reply, didn't have my notifications turned on). I think what I also wanted to convey is just how messy this issue is for the people experiencing it, and that we like to paint in black and white but we live in grey.
I wish people supported good policy and not just policy that impacts them in a good way. It feels like governing and voting has gotten very selfish. "How does this affect me?" instead of "how does this make the country better?"
I love this. It illustrates the power of policy and that it can be good even if, emotionally, one might disagree with it.
